My name is Hanneke Westervelt. My husband Johannes and I both grew up in the Netherlands and retired in Italy in 2021 after living in California for 21 years. We immersed in the Italian culture, with it's food, music, history and art. The warm and friendly people in Abruzzo and their way of living is not hard to get used to.
We fell in love with Chieti, with it's roots preceding the ancient Greek, and acquired this 300+ year old house to share with friends and family. Following their enthusiastic responses we decided to welcome all Italy lovers!
The house features three floors with 3 separate units, each with a private bathroom. Two units are on the top floor, sleeping 1 and 2 persons. The middle floor unit has two double bedrooms to sleep 4 people. On the ground floor you find a modern, fully equipped kitchen, and a small living room. The roof is accessible to enjoy the sun and read a book in full privacy..
You can reserve the whole house for max 7 people with 3 bathrooms, or just the bottom two floors for max 4 people, 1 bathroom.
The minimum stay is 3 nights.
